PROCEDURE AND REQUIREMENTS
FOR ENROLLMENT/APPLICATION TO GRADUATE PROGRAM
AT PETROLEUM ENGINEERING INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG

PROCEDURE
General guideline to apply for Graduate (Master or Doctoral) Program can be downloaded at: http//sps.itb.ac.id/pendaftaran. However, there may be some exception on specific requirements.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS
1. Applicant must have Bachelor Degree (for master program applicant) and posses Master Degree (for doctoral program applicant) at engineering or science disciplines.
2. Applicant prove to have minimum GPA of 3.0 out of scale 4.0 (master program applicant), minimum English proficiency equivalent to TOEFL score of 525, and minimum TPA of 550 (only for applicants from Indonesia).

SELECTION TEST
Applicants who qualify the above administrative requirements will be scheduled for interview (when necessary). Decision for acceptance is based on the evaluation of all submitted documents and results of interview.

PRECOURSES
Newly accepted master students who have no significant Petroleum Engineering background are required to take leveling classes in addition to the normal curriculum. These classes are determined by Petroleum Engineering Graduate Program Office.

Meanwhile for newly accepted doctoral students who have no Peleum Engineering degree from ITB, they are to take qualifying clasess at first or second semester.
