Labtek XVII (Lab Dato) is equipped with various advanced instruments supporting research and experimental studies in petroleum engineering, gas processing, and Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR). These facilities enable students, researchers, and industry partners to conduct fluid characterization, phase behavior analysis, and production or EOR simulation under controlled laboratory conditions.
Main Equipment:
- Gas Booster
Used to increase gas pressure in closed systems, supporting high-pressure experiments such as PVT testing or gas injection studies. - Soxhlet Extractor
A laboratory apparatus designed to extract specific components from solid samples using solvents, commonly applied in oil content or organic compound analysis. - Hot Air Oven (Memmert Oven)
Utilized for drying, heating, and stabilizing samples with precise temperature control. - Slim Tube System
An experimental setup for evaluating fluid displacement efficiency during gas injection and determining the Minimum Miscibility Pressure (MMP) in EOR studies. - EOR Gasflood
A system designed to simulate gas injection processes (CO₂, N₂, or hydrocarbon gases) in reservoir conditions to assess enhanced oil recovery potential. - PVT Phase Behavior System
Used to analyze Pressure-Volume-Temperature (PVT) relationships and phase behavior of reservoir fluids under various operating conditions. - Syringe Pump 1 & Syringe Pump 3
High-precision pumps that provide accurate and stable fluid injection rates during laboratory experiments.
